Chloe Soto selected for 'One-Acts'

Chloe Soto, of Springfield, has been selected to participate in the HCC Drama Club's Spring 2016 production of One-Act plays to be performed May 5-7.

Four one-act plays will be performed each night at 7:30 p.m. in room 111 of the Fine & Performing Arts Center.

"Please Don't Kill the Goldfish" was written by HCC student Deborah Uller and is being directed by HCC theater instructor Tom Schieding. The play features students Chloe Soto as Sandy, and Anastasia Pascari as Karen.

"Suppressed Desires," by Susan Glaspell, is co-directed by HCC students Anastasia Pascari and JeanLuc de Pinho Gusmao and features Taneisha Claussell-Padilla as Henrietta, Kevin Navarro as Stephen and Mariah Waite as Mabel.

"The Dumb Waiter," by Harold Pinter, is directed by students Alec Rackliffe and Gabriel Cifuentes and features Brandon Reardon and Chris Webber as Ben and Gus.

"Hamlette," by Allison Williams, directed by students Tom Roche and Alex Mader, features Naidelyn Cruz, Devin Thomas, Gabriel Cifuentes, Jeremy Routhier and Melany Rivera-Sandoval in a variety of acting roles.

The technical and production team includes Hannah Murphy, Sam Falcetti, Chris Webber, Heri Lopez, Jayquan Johnson-Wilson, Jason Brown, Maddie Riel, JeanLuc de Pinho Gusmao, Jakub Bucior, Larisa Polk, Brandon Reardon, Jeremy Routhier, Shannon Lane, and Minji Chae.

Tickets are $5 at the door.
