Deborah McIntosh on Fall 2014 theater team

2014 Sep 24

Deborah McIntosh, of South Hadley, has been selected as a member of HCC's Fall 2014 theater production team.

The HCC Theater Department will present When the Rain Stops Falling, by Andrew Bovell, on Nov. 13-15 and Nov. 20-22, at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee performance on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. All performances will be held in the Leslie Phillips Theater, in HCC's Fine and Performing Arts building.

The production team performs critical offstage roles in the planning and execution of theater performances, such as set design, wardrobe, props, lighting, sound and stage management.

The play is being directed by HCC theater professor Tim Cochran, with set design by HCC theater professor Chris Hoyt and costume design by Ashley Tyler.

In When the Rain Stops Falling, a son searches for identity and redemption in a family torn apart by their past. The play moves across space and time from the claustrophobia of a 1950s London flat to the heart of the Australian desert in 2039.

Tickets are $10 (general admission); $8 for students and seniors; and $5 for members of the HCC community (students, staff and faculty) with a valid I.D.
