Hsin-Yu Yu awarded HCC scholarship

Hsin-Yu Yu, of Longmeadow, has been awarded a scholarship from Holyoke Community College for the 2017-2018 school year.

This year, the HCC Foundation awarded more than 200 endowed scholarships worth more than $200,000 to deserving HCC students.These scholarships have been made possible through the generosity of alumni, friends, faculty, trustees, and community-minded corporations. This commitment to the college has allowed thousands of deserving students to continue their educational dreams.

The Holyoke Community College Alumni Association also awards more than 25 scholarships each year, made possible through alumni gifts to the annual fund.

Hsin-Yu and all the other scholarship recipients will be honored on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at a reception beginning at 11:00 a.m. in HCC's Bartley Center for Athletics and Recreation.
