Jeremy Routhier on Spring 2018 theater team

2018 Mar 6

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize Jeremy Routhier, of Southampton, for earning a spot on the HCC Theater Department's Spring 2018 production team for "An Enemy of the People," by Henrik Ibsen.

HCC will present the play April 19-21 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee performance April 21 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held in the Leslie Phillips Theater in HCC's Fine and Performing Arts Building.

The play is being directed by HCC theater instructor Tom Geha with stage design and lighting by theater professor Matthew Whiton.

"All in all, I feel I have a stunner of a cast and an awesome crew," Geha said. "I look forward to working with them all."

In "An Enemy of the People," Henrik Ibsen weighs the cost of public health versus a town's livelihood as a report of dangerously polluted waters threatens to shut down the baths this tight-knit community relies upon for its tourist trade.

The Fri., April 20, show will be ASL interpreted.

Ticket are $10 general admission; $8 students and seniors; $5 for members of the HCC community.
