Lindsey Pare receives club award

Lindsey Pare, of Ludlow, received an award at the 2017 HCC Student Club Appreciation and Awards celebration on Fri., May 5.

The awards, given annually at the end of the Spring semester, recognize students who participate in clubs in a variety of different categories:

• Club of the Year: Students on the Autism Spectrum
• Event of the Year: Paint Night, Military Club.
• Humanitarian Effort Award: Anime Club, Student Senate
• Phoenix Award: Students on the Autism Spectrum Club, Education Club, Military Club
• Rising Star Award: Jared Hawk, Education Club; Heather Paiva Perez, Student Senate; Muhammed Azmi Bin Zainal Abidin, CommITTED and International Students Club; Chris Miller, Radio Club
• Heart and Soul Award: Chloe Soto, Student Senate; Jess Krolicki, Radio Club; Chet Wilson, Military Club; McKenzie Wilson, Education Club
• Teamwork Award: Amanda Rooke and Teddy McCormick, Student Senate; Chet Wilson and Jon Jasmin, Military Club; Chloe Soto and Jonathan Mendez, Student Senate
• Excellence in Leadership Award: Harry Farris, Anime Club; Tiffany Cavanaugh, Students on the Autism Spectrum Club, Gina Burke, Education Club
• Commitment Award: Sylvia Nkrumah, Education Club; Karianne Santiago, Student Senate and CommITTED Club; Teddy McCormick, Student Senate and STEM Club
