Lourdes Lebron receives art award

Lourdes Lebron, of Florence, has received an art award for the Spring 2018 semester.

Every Spring, hundreds of HCC students participate in the Student Art Exhibition.

This year the exhibition is being held through May 3 at several locations throughout the HCC campus: The Taber Art Gallery, the HCC Library showcases, the second floor of the Donahue building; and in the third floor hallway of the Fine & Performing Arts Building.

All locations are open to the public during regular school sessions, except the Taber Gallery which is open Mon - Thurs. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Visual Art Award winners were announced at an art show opening reception Thurs., April 19, in the HCC Library lobby and Taber Art Gallery.

The following students received faculty awards for their work in visual arts, photography and graphic design:

Insun Russell, Megan Knight, Conner Lajoie, Mateo Guevara Lemeland, Brendon Castro, Robin Gencarelle, Shelby Ryder, Samary Ramos, Erin Burns, Lindsey Sullivan, Angela Downey, Jessica Impoco, Drea Bulley and Lourdes Lebron.
