Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for the Fall 2024 semester.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the following students who will complete their graduation requirements for either associate degrees or certificates by the end of the fall 2024 semester. These members of the Class of 2025 were recognized at HCC's second Fall Graduate Reception on Monday, Dec. 2, in the college's Leslie Phillips Theater and also invited to participate in HCC's 78th Commencement exercises at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass., on May 31, 2025.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the students participating in HCC's Fall 2024 theater production of "Polaroid Stories," by Naomi Iizuka. The play, directed by Rose Schwietz Malla, will be presented in HCC's Leslie Phillips Theater Nov. 21-23 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Nov. 23.

At the conclusion of each academic year, Holyoke Community College recognizes students with honors and awards for outstanding achievement and performance in a wide array of academic areas and extracurricular pursuits. Awardees for the 2023-2024 academic year were honored during an in-person ceremony on Wed., May 15, in the Leslie Phillips Theater. Congratulations to this year's award winners!

This year, the Holyoke Community College Foundation awarded 388 scholarships worth $335,000 to new, current, and transferring HCC students for the 2024-2025 academic year. These scholarships have been made possible through the generosity of alumni, friends, faculty, trustees, and community-minded corporations. Congratulations to this year's recipients, who were celebrated at a special reception on May 9.

Every spring, graduates of HCC's Associate in Science in Nursing program are recognized with a traditional pinning ceremony during which they are inducted into the health care field as soon-to-be registered nursing professionals. They light candles, are "pinned" by a registered nurse, and recite the Nightingale Pledge. This year, the college celebrated graduates of its ASN program on Thursday, May 23, in the Leslie Phillips Theater.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize all the students accepted for membership into the Alpha Xi Omega chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for the 2023-2024 academic year. Students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa when they have completed 15 college credits while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. New inductees were recognized during a campus celebration on May 1.

Congratulations to all the students who selected for awards by the HCC Visual Art faculty. They were recognized Thursday, April 11, during an evening reception opening the 2024 Student Art Exhibition in the Taber Art Gallery. The exhibition runs through May 1.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the students participating in HCC's Spring 2024 theater production of "The Great Gatsby," a play by Simon Levy adapted from the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The play, directed by HCC Theater Professor and HCC alum Patricia Sandoval, will be presented in HCC's Leslie Phillips Theater April 11-13 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday April 13.
