Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for Summer 2023.

This year, the Holyoke Community College Foundation awarded close to 300 scholarships worth close to $400,000 to new, current, and transferring HCC students for the 2023-2024 academic year. These scholarships have been made possible through the generosity of alumni, friends, faculty, trustees, and community-minded corporations. Congratulations to this year's recipients!

Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for the Spring 2023 semester.

Every spring, graduates of HCC's Associate in Science in Nursing program are recognized with a traditional pinning ceremony during which they are inducted into the health care field as soon-to-be registered nursing professionals. They light candles, are "pinned" by a registered nurse, and recite the Nightingale Pledge. This year, the college celebrated graduates of its ASN program on Thursday, May 25, in the HCC Campus Center.

At the conclusion of each academic year, Holyoke Community College recognizes students with honors and awards for outstanding achievement and performance in a wide array of academic areas and extracurricular pursuits. Awardees for the 2022-2023 academic year were honored in an in-person ceremony on Wed., May 17, at the Bartley Center for Athletics & Recreation. Congratulations to this year's award winners!

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize all the students accepted for membership into the Alpha Xi Omega chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for the 2022-2023 academic year. Students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa when they have completed 15 college credits while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. New inductees will be recognized during an online celebration on May 18.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the students and alumni participating in HCC's Fall 2022 theater production of "Men On Boats," by Jaclyn Backhaus and directed by HCC theater professor Pat Sandoval '84. The play will be presented in HCC's Leslie Phillips Theater Nov. 17-19 at 7:30 p.m., with a Sat., Nov. 19, matinee at 2 p.m.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the students and alumni participating in HCC's Spring 2023 theater production of "Stop Kiss," by Diana Son and directed by HCC alum Susanna Apgar. The play will be presented in HCC's Leslie Phillips Theater April 13-15 at 7:30 p.m., with a Sat., April 15 matinee at 2 p.m.

This year, because of ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, HCC celebrated the graduates of HCC's ASN program with a virtual pinning ceremony on Thursday, May 27, after students stopped by HCC's Center for Health Education & Simulation earlier in the day to pick up their pins and candles and celebrate in person with nursing faculty and staff.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the students and alumni participating in HCC's Spring 2021 theater production, "In These Times," an original livestreaming show inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic, directed by HCC theater professor Patricia Sandoval, in collaboration with HCC's Music and Visual Art departments. The virtual who will be presented April 15-17, at 7:30 p.m. on YouTube, with an April 17 matinee at 2 p.m.
